Marketing

Marketing is a process to integrate the key objectives and priorities of your department with a consistent message and identity -- and is useful in addressing a wide variety of unit opportunities.  We can assist with research, analysis, implementation, and measurement.

  • Design Services

    • Web design: With a combination of our design talent and the College’s Content Management System (CMS), our team can create a website for your unit that is easier, faster, and smarter.

    • Print design: From recruiting students to contacting donors, many departments have a need for engaging, unique printed materials including brochures, booklets, invitations, and flyers.  We take an integrated approach, often designing brochures in tandem with web improvements or recommendations.

  • Web consultation: A website can be so much more than just pictures and text.  It’s a problem-solving tool.  Web real estate can be used to effectively address unit priorities.  We can provide assistance in identifying key audiences, crafting effective information architectures, and recommending strategies.

  • Content Management System (CMS)

    • The CMS, which powers the LSA website, provides a tool for making easy updates of information at the unit level.  In addition to designing new sites to use the CMS, we can migrate your unit’s existing site so you can take advantage of this technology.

    • CMS training: When we design a new site, we utilize the College’s CMS to create something that’s easy-to-use and even easier to update.  Anyone in your unit who works with the web will be fully trained in the CMS.

  • Writing/Messaging: Communicating messages to multiple audiences can be challenging. Our team can help you craft consistent, appealing messages to specific, key audiences.

  • Focus Groups/Surveys: Research is critical to making informed decisions.  Through focus groups and surveys, which we can help you design, you can better know what your audience is thinking about your unit – and what you need to be telling them in your fundraising and communications.
