The Arts and Knowledge Fellowship will bring a scholar of (or within) the arts, for a semester, to teach a course, but with the further instruction to develop—in conjunction with one or more of the University of Michigan’s art units—a major art event (musical commission, dance project, exhibition, etc.) in coordination with a knowledge-producing seminar series, conference or the like, which will lead to publication. A Fellow will be named to the Institute from within the University who will work with the Arts and Knowledge Fellow for the semester in this planning process.
