Ton Broos, Director, Dutch and Flemish Studies

Dr. Broos has published extensively on Dutch literature with emphasis on the 18th century and literature's connection with art history. He teaches Dutch language and literature on all levels, plus other special courses such as: "Anne Frank in Past and Present."  He has served on the board of the American Association for Netherlandic Studies and the selection committee for the Dutch Summer Course in The Netherlands, and he is a national examiner of Dutch for the National Association of Self-Instructional Language programs. He is editor of the series Occasional Papers in Dutch and Flemish Studies at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His own recent publications include entries in:
